LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

JUST WANT TO SAY...

... what a lovely day we've had with Dannymatt and co.

The kids are great - and certainly enjoy their food, making them a pleasure to entertain.

As for the dogs - we had the initial grumps from Lily and Maggie Mae, but once they'd got that out of the way they had a great time chasing around together. They even managed to get to the point where they could all settle down quietly for a bit of a rest, which shows that they are beginning to relax in each other's company.(Dannymatt has only been gone an hour - and Lily and Rose have been asleep ever since he left!)

Now we have the problem of what to do with left over Pavlova and banoffi pie!!

  1. You really are two of the kindest people I know. I have NEVER known Catherine to miss supper after eating lunch before. Ever. She is absolutely stuffed to the gunnels still. I've just read that it was meant to be a choice of dessert. We all had all three!!! The Pavlova was simply the best I have ever tasted....bar none. And I'm not a swee...well I'll not go down that road again.

I have to say that the dustbin lids were deeply appreciative of the absolutely wonderful food you served up. (The fries were expertly cooked - there is nothing like homemade chips) They loved it. All of it. Everything! And what an excellent idea Sue. It is good to know that you weren't cooking for picky kids though eh? And fussy eaters they ain't - unusual these days I think. Sign of a good upbringing.

Andy was lumbering around the training pitch tonight because he had eaten far too much and he was annoyed because the passing was not up to standard....not his you understand, everyone else's. But on the way to training he kept banging on about the club sandwiches in particular...and then the Banoffee pie...oh and then the... honestly it was beginning to get on my nerves. In fact, I was starting to feel inadequate. So I barracked him from the touchline during training in an act of childish retribution.

It was another wonderful day well spent and we thank you from the very heart of our....

  3. Meraviglioso amici miei... e mille grazie. Now...talking about your wish to revisit the United States of Wherever Maggie and Isla thought it would be a good idea to invite the Lily and the Rose to sleepover whenever you decide the time is right...it's a good option :o)

  4. That's a very kind and generous offer. My only concern would be - how would Isla cope with the Invasion of the Peaceshatterers? I would hate to think she was intimidated by Lily in her own home.
