... to rabbiting on about Lily and Rose on this blog!
Although, to tell the truth, they are now such grown up girls and are so much quieter than a few months ago, it's sometimes quite difficult to find much to say other than 'The girls got up, ran around a bit and jumped up when we went to greet them, went out for a wee and a poop, came in and ran around a bit more. Then they went for a walk, came home, got tired and lay down, had breakfast, ran around a bit, lay down and had a sleep, woke up,ran around, barked at the postman, went out for a wee, got tired and lay down for a bit...'
And so it goes on, the only change coming in an evening when its, 'Went through for telly time, Lily snuggled up with her Dad and Rose watched out for the adverts so she could bark at them, got tired, fell asleep and had to be carried to bed!' It's the same every night! I say, 'Come on you two, it's bed time and they both wake up long enough to look at me, then immediately go all floppy and lie down again, eyes squeezed shut as if to say, "You want me to go to bed - well you can carry me then."
We get them into their room and let them out for a sleepy wee, then they stagger in on tired little legs, straight into bed!
It's a dog's life all right.
