Have spent the entire day making cupcakes, frosting them and decorating the tiniest top cake you've ever seen!
Had a bit of a disaster though - the top layer of my cupcake stand is 6 inches, so I ordered a six inch tin and round cake stands. Unfortunately, I forgot that once there is a layer of marzipan and then one (or in this case TWO layers of sugarpaste, the cake ends up a lot bigger than 6 inches! Drat and darn it!
So, have had to have a bit of a re-think and have ended up with rather a Heath Robinson-esque result, which at this late stage will just have to do!
And the girls are fine by the way. Incredibly patient and watching (from afar in case you're wondering about food hygiene) the day's proceedings with huge interest!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
