In fact, the driving conditions are so bad that James, who probably should never have driven up here for his tea considering the state of the roads, has returned here having set off for Gosforth, but only getting as far as Longhorsley.
In truth, there is barely any snow actually lying in Fram, but regardless, things have ground to a shuddering halt.
I'm really hoping that the weather holds off tomorrow as the last thing I want is for the Christmas Shopping Evening to be cancelled. If it IS I have dozens of cakes and goodies to dispose of somehow.
The girls have been pretty stir crazy this evening, having been forced to spend the entire day indoors. having said that, Lily is snuggling up with James and Rose is watching the Man Utd match so all is relatively settled now.
So, fingers crossed for a big thaw overnight then!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
