... that, apart from an exceedingly frustrating match this afternoon, the rest of the day has been brilliant.
James and I had a great time in town. He's such good company and has loads of patience when he has to wait for his mother to sort herself out.
We did of course eat far too much, which I am regretting now, but what the heck - it was just one day!
We came home, having picked Claire up after the match and settled down to an evening of Strictly, XFactor, Take That and the 5 minute boxing match - oh yes and dinner!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
