... a picture postcard, but after another four inches (at least) of the white stuff last night - and more coming down right now - it's really beginning to look as if the postman may have been right the other day when he cheerily informed me that this was going to be the worst winter in 100 years.
We must have as much snow lying now as we did during the worst of the winter last year. It's quite incredible considering were still in November.
Charles has just left for school although he may be back sooner than he imagines if this current blizzard continues. I think he's still getting over the fact that he had to be dug out of the Village Hall car park last night after we had unloaded our crates. He then refused, quite rightly, to bring the car park to pick me up, so we made journey after journey on foot, carrying all the stuff back home again. He was somewhat less than impressed!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
