MERINGUES...

... are in the oven. They need a couple of hours to really dry out, so can't really do much until they're ready.

Have decided to take a risk and bake the cupcakes today, freeze them and then spend part of Thursday frosting and decorating them. It should be fine, as I've already experimented with freezing and there appears to be no difference once they're thawed, plus it'll help me to manage my time more effectively.

Lily and Rose are enjoying watching all the comings and goings in the kitchen - from a distance of course! They have really calmed down recently (apart from Rose's obsession with anything she takes exception to on the telly) and we've had a run of peaceful nights during the last week, so hopefully are back on track in that area.

I was just thinking - I know I've got a busy week, but so have James and Claire as this is the week they move into their new apartment. I'm really excited for them!
