Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

MUST BE DESPERATE NOW

So fed up of being confined to the house, I've resorted to sorting out the utility room and all those drawers where things just get shoved for sorting out later. The problem is, they never DO get sorted out and just pile up higher and higher, resulting in a mammoth task that is easier to avoid than actually tackle.

Still no postman today, although we have had a delivery via a courier, who said that the A697 is passable with cre, but the Royal Mail aren't letting their postmen out yet. I have an image of dozens of frustrated postmen, locked away in some gigantic sorting office, pleading to be allowed out to make their deliveries. The thing is, by the time they DO get back on the road, I'm going to need a mail van just for MY stuff!

I was beginning to think that the thaw had set in. In fact, in fairness, I CAN actually see some hints of green in the garden now, so there must be some thawing going on. BUT I've just checked out the forecast from the Met Office and it would appear that we are due for another snowfall and have a 'flash warning' hanging over us for the next couple of days. That was not there when I checked first thing this morning.

Okay - what can I do next? Might sort out my winter clothes!!
