Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

WHAT A LET DOWN

Okay - the weather was awful. I totally accept that. But the fact that, out of the 20 expected stallholders, only five turned up and the others didn't even bother to send apologies, was pretty disappointing.

As for customers - well if there were thirty all night I'd be very surprised.

Having said that I did sell a lot of cakes and took orders for Christmas, so came away with a reasonable profit considering.

Quite a few people took cards and showed a lot of interest, so that was encouraging. I suppose it will build gradually.

Now - what on earth am I going to do with all the leftover stuff? Looking at the weather at the moment, I'd be extremely surprised if Charles gets to work tomorrow as the Rothbury Road is impassable, so he probably won't be taking them to school with him.

Anyway, that's all the excitement out of the way for a while. I've got a small order to do for Saturday and a Christmas cake to get started, but that's about it for now.

Talking about saturday, the girls are off for a pamper day and should come home neatly trimmed (not too short, they'll get cold) and coiffed and smelling of baby powder. Lovely.

  1. Little birds in winter time,
    Hungry are and poor
Feed them for the Father's sake
    Till the winter's o'er.
