... have the girls suddenly started waking up two or three times during the night and barking madly?
This is a complete change to their usual behaviour, and is becoming a little tiring now.
Last night they were awake at 2.00, went out for a wee, then settled until 3.00 when they were barking again. At that point I went through and just told them to settle, which they did, until 6.00 when they (and consequently WE) were up for the day.
I don't understand what is causing this.

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
