... along comes another five inches of snow, falling in the space of two hours and causing power cuts to a huge area of the north of the county (us included)
James had just sat down for a late brunch when it started. Fortunately he got out pretty damn quick, because another hour or so and he would have been stuck - and cold because we never DID go out and buy back up heaters, despite my concerns three weeks ago. (We will NOW though)
I have a bad feeling about getting the girls to Shilbottle tomorrow for their hairdos. We've still got blizzard conditions out there and all the routes from Fram to the A1 are blocked. Oh - and we have obviously got our electricity back on. A very big thank you goes to whoever was responsible for sorting out the fault.

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
