LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

AT LAST WE KNOW...

... what's happening this week - weather permitting of course!

Helen and Bill are coming on Thursday, staying over New Year and bringing my Mum with them. They'll like that!

We've booked afternoon tea at the Jesmond Dene House Hotel on Friday, because I've been wanting to take Mum there for ages and it seems like a very civilised thing to do on New Year's Eve.

James will bring Claire to meet his Nan on Thursday - and there was no way they were going to miss out on a trip to JDHH, so we'll be seeing them on Friday as well - (and if I tell him I've got half a pig to roast on Saturday, we'll probably see him then as well!)

Right - we've just dyed Rose a lovely shade of pink! Purely by accident of course. We'd done their advocate flea treatment, which is applied to the back of the neck and left to dry - but had omitted to remove the very nice red leather (blinging) collar, which then reacted with the liquid and rapidly spread all around her neck giving the sinister impression of her having had her throat cut.

Fortunately, once we'd given the stuff time to sink in to her skin, I was able to scrub the colour off, restoring her skinny little neck to normality.

Tomorrow - we've got a trip planned to town, where we're meeting guess who?Oh yes, that would be James and Claire! A little breakfast, followed by a couple of hours at the sales. (I won't be able to stand any more than that.)
