It seems to me it's been dark and miserable all day. It's raining heavily (thank God it's not snow) and I've just been out to bring the bins in, only to find my next door neighbour cleaning her windows. Why would you do that in weather like this?
I'm feeling really sorry for Lily and Rose, who have been confined to the house again all day. Not that THEY seem too bothered! They've snored the day away quite happily.
All the frostings are prepared and wrapped, ready for use tomorrow. Once that delivery's out of the way, there should be a bit of a lull until next week, when I have a baking marathon lined up for Wednesday, so we can get orders out before Christmas Eve.
I've got a huge pot of bolognese bubbling on the hob, but it's just occurred to me that I don't actually have a vast number of people to consume it, nor do I have a single square inch of space in the freezers which is a bit of a pain. How is it, that you can have three fridges and two freezers - and still not have enough room?
Anyway, not to worry. However, I AM slightly worried that I haven't heard from my usually totally relaible son for the last couple of days. Where are you Jim?
