... we are indeed fully restored in terms of communications. Thank goodness!
And we were wrong. The fault wasn't the same as before, but attributed to the cable just outside the house which had suffered damage from the amount of snow we've had. I was seriously worried at one point when the engineer announced that there was also a fault under the floorboards, but he and his mate put all new cabling in without having to disturb anything.
What a relief it is to be back on-line!
