Dear Uncle Chris,
We are writing to thank you very much for giving our Mum a new cookery book all about doggy biscuits. There are loads of recipes in there and we expect Mum to try them all out on us.
This will make a very nice change from all the stuff she usually does because we don't get to try ANY of that you know.
We will let you know what our favourite is - although knowing us, we'll like all of them!
You are very kind and we've decided you're our favourite uncle!!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

ReplyDeleteYour writing skills are now second only to your consummate manners, however I have to admit that the gift was not my doing but your Aunt Wendy's. You do remember Aunt Wendy don't you? She was the one that looked after you when your mum and dad got stuck in NYC. I pretended it was me of course and took all the plaudits but the truth of it was that it was she that nursed and cuddled you, fed you and wiped up after you (Rose). Left to me you may well have starved or even worse have become opera lovers. Your good breeding does show and fills me full of hope in these dark days. They will end soon, won't they? Girls?
