Up until now I've always been reluctant to take the girls to the Dog Park on my own as I've never been convinced that they'll come back once they're off their leads. However, after going with Charles (AND the girls of course) a few times over the past weeks, it's clear that in fact they DO come when they are called, especially if treats are involved.
So this afternoon, we went together - just the three of us - and we had a lovely time. They didn't run off into the great unknown, although they DID chase each other round like mad things. They greeted two other much larger dogs politely, without barking, and had a game of chase with them AND every time I called them, they came back.
Very pleased with my girls today!
(They're fast asleep now!)
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Goodness me that's taken you a long while. Didn't realise you were so very nervous about it. It's a great place for them. You're really lucky to have it within such an easy distance. The length of the walk is perfect for Westies without the need for jumping in and out of the car with dirty/wet canines.
