LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

FORGOT TO MENTION...

... the little mishap I had this morning!

It involved three workboxes full of sugar dragees, beads and glitter and a large number of books.

I have dozens of cake decorating books balanced on one of the worktops in the kitchen. My workboxes are nestled against one end of the books - or at least they were, until I pulled out one of the books, resulting in a monumental bookslide and thousands of sugar decorations bouncing around the kitchen floor. Being almost exclusively spherical, they did not respond well to the brush and dustpan! Needless to say, I spent a frustrating half hour on my hands and knees scooping the little blighters up - and I'm still finding more now, despite hoovering and mopping as well.

The workboxes are no longer acting as bookends!

  1. Bookslide - great word and image. Hoovering too...we all tend to use that don't we? Even though its a brand name which used to be based 5 miles out of London on the Western Avenue (must have been a marvel when it was brand new). Can't really imagine saying "Time to Henry up!" can you? Or "This room needs a good Dysoning". "Whose turn is it to Sebo up?"
