... so unable to reply to comments. But, just in case you were referring to ME Dannymatt, I don't think I'm the perfect driver by any means. But I DO object to drivers who clearly shouldn't be on the road because they are no longer fit to drive OR who don't give a toss about other road users.
That aside, I'm going down to Morpeth this morning (hopefully without coming across the sort of idiots I had the misfortune to encounter the other day) and will be spending a blissful few hours at SAKs having my colour done. Lovely!

No, of course not, how could I? I've never experienced your driving. I was making a general observation. We all know there are lots of bad drivers, we hear it all the time and we see it regularly, but noone admits to being a bad driver do they? Well one wouldn't would one? Of course I shouldn't make generalisations either should I? All generalisations are falsifications....including this one!
ReplyDeleteMind you I can hear myself right now. "What do you mean? I'm a good driver Wendy....I drive your car more economically and smoother than you do!"
ReplyDeleteor should that have been "more smoothly"?
ReplyDeleteProbably!!
ReplyDeleteI needed definitely! So neither of us really knows? What is going wrong with this world of ours? We used to be so sure. I mean "different from" etc...
ReplyDelete"Different FROM"... Oh how that reminds me of my Dad. He had a real thing about how everyone uses 'Different TO' and would make a point of correcting them, regardless of who they were!!
ReplyDeleteAs a result it's one of MY bugbears now. Just listen to the TV news (even the Beeb where they should know better!) and you'll hear it used incorrectly ALL the time.
