That's what I got this morning.
Charles and I had agreed that each of us would get a lie in this weekend while the other got up with the girls when they woke.
Yesterday was Charles's turn to get up - at around 6.30 I think. I wasn't that far behind as once I'm disturbed I can't just lie in bed because I'm thinking of everything I need to be doing.
Anyway, this morning was obviously MY turn to get up - which I did when the little buggers woke at 5.15am. Clearly something had disturbed them and, after a quick wee outside (them, not me) and some stern words, they DID settle down again for another half hour, but by then the damage was done and although I returned to bed I was just lying waiting for them to decided enough was enough and they needed some attention NOW.
Having said that, there's something really lovely about being up and about when the rest of the village is still slumbering. It's been a gorgeous morning so far, really sunny, and I've quite enjoyed sitting on the step with the girls enjoying a bit of warmth on my face.
Mind you - I'm guessing I'll be first in line for the Sunday afternoon snooze!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
