TOOK THE GIRLS...

... down to the dog park this afternoon.

Usually they hare around like mad things, but today I think it was too warm for them and, although they made half-hearted attempts at playing chase, they really just wanted to lie in the shade. They don't enjoy really warm weather at all and seem to enjoy keeping cool by lying on the tiled floor as opposed to a pile of cushions which is certainly Lily's usual preference. She really makes me laugh because she has to make a little nest before she'll settle down and if she can create a sort of cocoon so much the better. Often all that can be seen of Lily is just a little black nose!
