LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

WONDER...

... if there'll be any GOOD news out of NUFC today. Lots of rumours last night about an unnamed player checking into Jesmond Dene House last night - but probably all rubbish.

Feel really tired today. Don't know why as I haven't done anything much this week. Actually maybe that's it, once you start to relax a bit, lethargy creeps in.

Not sure what's on the cards for today. I will probably get started on covering the cake I made yesterday. It's not going out until Sunday or Monday, so plenty of time.

  1. Lethargy is a huge problem for me. And it's getting worse. Can't wait till I retire properly and then maybe I'll do something about it? Strange feeling...Excellent news about The Jesmond Coffee Shop. Good on you.

  2. Just out of interest did you check out the competition along at Starbucks? Presumably the new coffee shop will have done a feasibility study...did they let you in on this and did they ask you to make something different from Starbucks? There was another coffee shop I liked along Clayton Road called Willi's. Don't know if it's still there or even where this new one is.

  3. Yep - all those bases covered. The owner is keen to go for a homemade rather than mass produced product, keeping things relatively simple to start with which suits me just fine.
Willi's is indeed still there. Charles and I called in for coffee and a quick recce before meeting Kevin last week. Clearly popular, but nothing out of the ordinary on the menu. However, it is literally about ten doors away from the new coffee shop/studio so will clearly be a huge competitor! Still - I like a challenge!!

  4. You could always do Clint Eastwood in "Fistful of Dollars" ☺
