... in the hedgerows for rosehips and some honesty that appears to be growing wild. Thought I'd replicate them to make a lovely addition to the ruby wedding cake that I've been working on this morning.
I've had a go, and the hips have turned out brilliantly. The honesty is more difficult because they're so fragile, but I've mad a few sprigs and have sprayed them with a pearly shimmer spray, so just waiting for them to dry out then I'll see what I think.
The girls don't know where to put themselves today. I think they're just too hot. Walks have been very gentle, slow affairs today!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
