... fruit cakes went into the oven at 8.30...
... and won't be coming out until 5.30.
Going to have one very warm kitchen today!
Mind you, if the forecast is to be believed, we may be in for some pretty nasty weather, in the form of extremely high winds, with damaging gusts. Just hope it doesn't mean our power will go off, as it often does out here in the sticks in bad weather, until those cakes are safely out of the oven!
The girls are going to need to be pretty patient today, as I'm expecting about four different deliveries and will need to be around for them, so walks will have to wait until everything's arrived. Of course, I can pretty much guarantee that the one I really want NOW (ie the parcel with all the sugarpaste in) will be the one to get here last. This will drive me bonkers, as I'm waiting for it so that I can really crack on with the stuff for the 'Thomas' cake, But, Sod's Law and all that...
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
