... that all of Thomas the tank Engines 'friends' had such different faces!!
Obviously, I've now moved onto the Thomas cake I'm making for Friday and had the brilliant(!) idea of making five or six of the engines, peeping out of tunnels around the edge of the cake. Now I'm beginning to wish I hadn't thought of it!!
Had a pretty productive day all told, mind you. There's a huge bowl of dried fruit soaking in brandy ready for Christmas cakes tomorrow.
Also made a fab batch of chocolate orange cupcakes to give Claire tomorrow. Not exactly a birthday cake, but I'm sure she'll enjoy them, especially as she was talking about chocolate orange the other day.

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
