The girls are looking dejected already. "Dad's gone and left us - again!"
They knew something was up when they discovered the bags and walking boots at the front door this morning.
Still, they'll just have to cope with Mum for a few days. I'll probably have to get used to sitting around a bit more, indulging Lily in her canine cuddles.
Mind you, that'll have to wait a bit as I've got a trip to Morpeth to do first to get supplies in and when I get back I need to paint faces on the Santa and elf figures for the final Cakes A-Go-Go Christmas cake - oh and make a load of cheeky little snowmen! Fiddly stuff today!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
