Feels really good to be a Newcastle fan right now.
Okay, so it may not last and our good run will no doubt come to an end before long...
... but, right now, it's good to be able to enjoy it.
Even the MOTD lads found something positive to say about us, albeit reluctantly!!
Hopefully today is going to be spent in the garden. I want to do a quick trip to Heighley Gate this morning, but after that I'm planning to do all the deadheading, cutting back and weeding, providing the knees bear up. (I had a real problem with "arthrite de genou" while we were on holiday, and had to resort to buying a "genou" support just to ease the pain in my left knee a bit. Since we've been home it's been okay, but still occasionally gives an ominous click, so I'm swallowing fish oil capsules by the handful, hoping they will keep any further problems at bay.)
Charles is off to Seahouses again tomorrow. Should be a good week weatherwise. I see a mini-heatwave is predicted. Very nice. Hope the kids all remember their factor 50!
