I had a tweet from the guy who manages the Corbridge larder the other day, wanting to know if I'm interested in supplying scones, but only if they replicate exactly the ones in the Corbridge shop.
I can tell you that these scones are huge, heavy and kind of rigged in appearance. I know this because Charles and I went over there to try them.
Why he doesn't just get the same supplier to do both shops I really don't know. Nor am I particularly happy about trying to create something that I personally consider inferior.
Anyway, I think your idea is very sensible. I shall take what I manage to produce for him to sample on Thursday. And after that it's really up to him!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
