Welcome to the daily diary of Lily & Rose, the West Highland White Terriers. The Blog begins from them being 4 weeks old!
Young At Heart
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

AND THE NEXT BIT OF...
... not so good news is...
... that the house we fell in love with on Brunton Park HAS GONE.
Does Tennyson console your soul? "Tis better etcetera..." Nah, me neither. Try Dylan's Blood on the tracks. Does it for me every time. My favourite record of all time. Bar none. We even studied the words in 'A' level Latin (4 pupils and a teacher)and discussed whether it was poetry or not?....alongside Catullus' (Odi et amo)and Ovid's (O fons Bandusiae) for God's sake. The answer was resounding, heartfelt and unanimous. Mr Gordon Liddy (Watergate ha ha)was my 'influential' teacher and "Blood" has helped me out several times in my life when I've been "Tangled up in Blue"...
I'm Sue and I'm now retired (early)! I used to be a headteacher in Northumberland but now I'm getting used to a new way of life. One that is less stressful and pressured hopefully!
I live with my husband, Charles, in Newcastle upon Tyne, with our two Westies, Lily and Rose.
We have just become grandparents!!

ReplyDeleteWhat I really meant to say was, don't look seriously at property till you've sold yours. That's the only way to avoid bitter disappointment.
