ACTUALLY...

... things have calmed down, Christina is going out for the evening and will probably go to see the Olympic torch as it makes it's way through Alnwick. We had a good chat about the impact of words on others and how this can cause friction and anxiety and everything seems to b okay. I truly understand how frustrating it must be for Christina to be at home with her parent again, after living independently for so long. If course she needs our support, but we also need to learn to let go from time to time. It's tough, but I'm sure we'll get there - wherever 'there' might be!
