THE MORNING AFTER THE STORM OF ALL STORMS!

Major cleaning up operation going on all over the North East. I don't think it would be possible for anyone who didn't experience the events yesterday to fully appreciate the ferocity of that deluge. Just minutes before it hit here, I had got my camera ready to take photos of the sudden blackness. As it happened I didn't take the pictures because of the wall of rain that descended and then I was totally fixated by the speed with which our house became surrounded by a moat of water. All the talk on the radio and in the coffee shop this morning is, understandably, about the storm and people's experiences during and after the event. Absolutely incredible that there are no reports of people being hurt, although there are going to be many whose homes and businesses are ruined.
