HAPPY CHRISTMAS DANNYMATT!!

Hope it's a good one for you and yours! I don't know, all those weeks of preparation and it's all over in the blink of an eye. James and Claire were here at the crack of dawn, had breakfast and their pressies, then had lunch, collapsed in front of the telly and departed for Claire's Mum and Dad's mid-afternoon. It was lovely to see them and to know that they'll be back for the family party tomorrow, when we'll celebrate James's birthday properly. Christina and Tim are coming over in the morning, so we've still got all their presents waiting for them. It's the first time she hasn't spent the day with us, but we don't mind because, after a difficult couple of weeks, she now seems happy and settled. Mum'll be here tomorrow: the first time since the wedding and the disastrous few days afterwards!! Let's hope things go a little more smoothly this time.
