NOT AS BUSY A DAY...

... as yesterday, very pleasant though. Went into Morpeth this morning and did some bits of Christmassy shopping with Charles, then came home and were joined by James and Claire for a while this afternoon. I'd like to thank James for clearing a load of stuff out of our loft and thus freeing up a fair bit of space which I can now fill with MY STUFF, thank you very much!!! A fortnight from now those two should, fingers crossed, be moving into their new house. They might not have much to put in it yet, but it will be theirs and there is nothing to beat that feeling. Had a call from Alice at Applebys this afternoon wanting a delivery tomorrow. couldn't really pin her down to want she wants, so I'm taking a selection of stuff and we'll just take it from there. Okay, we've watched Strictly and Xfactor results, there's nothing else worth staying up for (Charles has got some cheesy Christmas film on) so I'm going to turn in early tonight!
