SO TODAY WAS A DAY...

... when I somehow forgot how to bake and was completely unable to apply a sheet of sugarpaste to the wedding cake I was supposed to be completing today. NOTHING I tried to do worked out today, so tempers have been more than a little frayed in the kitchen. Mind you Kevin didn't help either, sending the order through this afternoon and then adding more and more to it just when I thought I'd got it complete. Christina had a session with her therapist this morning and clearly had a lot to get to grips with because she was clearly upset and angry when she came home. She DID calm down though and that is something that just wouldn't have happened last year. She's fine now. Can't get moved for mincepies today. I'm taking 84 to Jesmond tomorrow, along with everything else for Radcliffes and Applebys. It's actually surprising how much room that number of mincepies takes up!!
