TOOK MUM...

... round her grandchildrens' homes today. We started with Christina at the farm, then moved into Gosfprth to visit James and Claire and ended up in Spittal terrace visiting Rachel and James. I think she really enjoyed seeing them and will be able to think about them all in their surroundings when she gets back home. It's been a lovely few days, but I have to say I'm quite looking for ward to an evening without entertaining or cooking, just sitting in front of the telly eating leftovers! So far as I'm aware there's very little planned for the next two days, although Charles seems quite eager to go to the sales(!), but we're expecting Helen and Bill to return for New Year and it sounds as though most of the kids would like to come round on New Year's Day at some point. Might have a little shut eye now...
