AM NEARLY IN TEARS...

... with the cold AND the attitude of some people when I've rung about getting an engineer here to fix the boiler. Apparently, Heatsource who have serviced our boiler for years, have gone bust. Pearts who supply our oil, recommended a company by the name of Team Energy, who I rang. I have now had two conversations with two different women, both of whom were extremely unhelpful and snotty. Neither could tell me when an engineer will be able to get out to us, because he will deal with contract customers first. Okay, I understand that there will be lots of people in the same boat but a little bit of respect and understanding wouldn't go amiss. Customer relations??? On the other hand, I've just rung another company I've found in yellow pages. They were extremely helpful and understanding and are sending Bob out later today if he can get up the A697. Looking out of the window I have to say that it has snowed pretty much non-stop all morning, but I think it's quite wet and hopefully the main roads will be clear. Fingers crossed Bob manages to get here and I'm sending a great big raspberry to the snotty cows at Team Energy.
