Welcome to the daily diary of Lily & Rose, the West Highland White Terriers. The Blog begins from them being 4 weeks old!
Young At Heart
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

MIGHT NEED TO WATCH...
... 'Broadchurch'!
From all the comments last night as the final episode aired, it appears to have been pretty addictive viewing.
We've recorded it, but are still wrapped up in our "Spooks" marathon, so will save it up for the sad day when we get to the end of series ten!
I thought it was a bit of a drag, althought the final episode was okay. By the third episode I commented that the police couldn't solve a crossword puzzle. Thankfully Pauline Quirk and her 'knowing looks' had long since disappeared. I watched it last night and thought that if there'd been less 'slow motion', it might have been all over and done with in fewer episodes. Plus, as much as I like Olivia Colman (she was outstanding as the abused wife in Paddy Considine's 'Tyrannosaur') she is, I fear, in danger of being typecast and in even greater danger of dissolving, squonk-like,into a pool of tears, one of these dramas.
I'm Sue and I'm now retired (early)! I used to be a headteacher in Northumberland but now I'm getting used to a new way of life. One that is less stressful and pressured hopefully!
I live with my husband, Charles, in Newcastle upon Tyne, with our two Westies, Lily and Rose.
We have just become grandparents!!
