OKAY, SO WHAT DOES 'FIRST CALL' ACTUALLY MEAN?

That's what we're supposed to be. First call for the cooker and washer repairs. I had thought that would mean anytime from 8.30 on - but we're still waiting for someone to show up at 9.30. Not impressed at all.
