JUST IN CASE YOU MISSED....

... our facebook announcement, we are going to be grandparents in January. We are thrilled to bits for James and Claire and so delighted that we are going to be living withing ten minutes of them.

    Clever way to do it on Facebook I thought. Different from the usual guff. Think I predicted the good news back in February or March if I remember correctly. Something about a stork over NE3. You quitting smoking and moving to Newcastle were dead-giveaways. Anyway, congratulations.

    Not all it's cracked up to be unfortunately. My granddaughter Olivia will be one year old in January and beautiful though she is, I think grandchildren are only sent to break our hearts again. Families innit.
