WENT TO...

... the Metro Centre this morning. We were SUPPOSED to be meeting Charles's Mum and a group from the nursing home, but we had a phone call early on telling us that she had decided against going! Never mind, we went anyway. It must be YEARS since we last went and we fairly soon realised why. The shops in town are SO much better! Okay, it's easy to get round the Metro Centre, it's all undercover and there are plenty of loos, but the shops are pretty uninspiring So we probably won't be rushing back!
