That's what Charles is doing (somewhat reluctantly, it has to be said) at the moment. Well, it's more of a rescue operation really, as he tries to replant the Kilmarnock Willow that has become uprooted thanks to the weight if snow and ice that was lodged in it's branches.
He's also going round all the beds, getting rid of dead stuff and having a bit of a tidy up. Hooray!!
We're off to the tip in Morpeth later this morning. It's incredible how much extra rubbish you amass over Christmas, isn't it? And I know our binmen will not take anything that exceeds our bin, so we need to do it ourselves.
Talked to Helen yesterday. She and Bill will be back on Friday (for the rugby match), and to stay for the weekend. Honestly, the sooner they are able to make the move up here for good, the better. Don't know why I bothered to change the bed after they left on Saturday!!!! Seriously, I'm looking forward to it, as it will just be the four of us and we've agreed to have a weekend of takeaways and eating out! Sounds good to me.
