But, I suspect, not nearly as tired as Charles will be when he gets home. He rang last night and could hardly string a sentence together. All I grasped was something about "long days", "have to cook breakfast"...
Bet he's really looking forward to doing it all again next week!!
Not sure why I'm so tired actually, as it's been a fairly easy week for me. Admittedly the girls (well Rose) have had me up since 6.30 every day, but that's nothing unusual.
Going to go into Morpeth to do some food shopping, then might make a chocolate cake - nothing fancy, just a family cake.
Off to the match tomorrow. First of the season for Charles and I as we missed the first two home games when we were in France. Hope we break the Blackburn jinx!

Well I would suggest that the reason for your fatigue is your inability to sleep after being kept awake in utter disbelief, late into the night by a young whippersnapper confusing Lewis Carroll with Walt Disney and then changing the goalposts during the verbal squabble (which he started) and then miserably attempting to sidle out of it, when he realised the end was nigh and he was about to be put into his place by the wisdom of his elders. Alice's evidence - Matthew Bray’s closing statement: “I’m right about the film. It was not established what we were talking about.”
ReplyDeleteI mean...What an outrage! Whippersnapper!
Previously.....on the Matthew Bray show: “Hmmmmm i believe that is the mad hatters advice actually.....”
MB: “Im not. Did the play at uni...and watched the film about 425818492 times....”
MB: “No....it was the mad hatter to alice. Who, while at the tea party wa asked to tell them about her day so far. To which the mad hatter said ur line whilst cutting a cup of tea in half !!!”
"It was not established what we were talking about"
WHAT??????????????
Now don’t get me wrong, I know what it’s like to live on Planet Bray, for I used to live there 20+ years ago when it was known as Planet Chris. Of course, some would have you believe I still rent accommodation there but I don’t, though I will admit to making the occasional return visits just for the nostalgic buzz you understand.

He’ll make a great teacher.
