... and saw a hot air balloon drifting slowly northwards. Christina was on the phone about half an hour ago and she'd seen it over Longhorsley. What a perfect evening for it - bit better than last night would have been anyway!
We're trying to watch the Brazil/Ivory Coast match - but the girls have other ideas tonight and are not wanting to settle for telly time. They're teasing and goading each other something rotten! Lily does this little howl when she's having a go at Rose and this acts as an early warning, whereas Rose makes no sound, just sneaks up and pounces, taking Lily by surprise! Maybe they've had enough football!
Talking of which - England may be having a traumatic time, but at least we're not France. it sounds is if their team is in total disarray (as opposed to the partial disarray that we're in).
(Would like to be a fly on the wall at the big meeting of the England team tonight!!)
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
