it's been really lovely today. Helen, Bill, Mum, Hannah and Jake arrived late this morning and, after coffee and cake (and birthday pressies for me!) we went up to Alnwick where we had a stroll around the gardens before lunch in the Tree House. I think everyone was blown away by the experience. The food was fab, the weather was perfect and the setting is, of course, really magical.
Later this afternoon we all took the pups for a run in the dog park, then returned home for more cake!
We sat around watching telly and chatting (as you do) until they finally had to leave for home at about 9.30.
The pups went to bed very late and were pretty exhausted after their busy day. We didn't take them with us when we went out, so they were on their own for about four hours - hich is probably the longest I have ever left them - but they were absolutely fine and just really happy to see us when we got home.
Looking forward to seeing dannymatt tomorrow. (Hope he likes cake!)

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
