No posts on the blog today - just not on!
Now for the excuses!! Had to rush into Morpeth this morning, in desperate need of short leggings and couldn't wait another minute. Did a bit of shopping and raced home, hoping to get there before Chris (alias Dannymatt) and Cathy and their two Westie girls, but was pipped at the post and had to mutter copious apologies for being a bad hostess.
Once that was out of the way, we had a lovely relaxed morning sitting in the sun, eating cake and stuff, while the four Westies enjoyed a good romp in the garden. They get on so well together, even when Lily does her best to tease them and provoke a reaction!
When they'd left I enjoyed an afternoon reading in the garden - and the pups had a good sleep after all the morning's excitement!

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Its was relaxing and delicious thank you. Cathy's eyes lit up the moment we arrived. At first I thought it was carer puppy reunion...however I strongly susspect it was cakes and lunch. The smile that spread across her face as Charles laid the sandwiches on the table was accompanied by a heartfelt "I love this!".......probably because we don't feed her at home :o/

Oh - and I love a girl who likes her food!!!
