LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

NUFC winning 3 - 1!!
More importantly, the pups are doing okay. Lily is still very dozy, but is moving a bit more easily and comes to us when we go through to their room. Rose is back in her usual mode of guarding her 'little' sister from the forces of evil that exist outside the front door and has taken up her normal watchful position, growling softly at suspected threats! She can move pretty freely at the moment.
The vet sent us home with painkillers to give them tomorrow if we think they need them. I'm pleased that we have this option and that we don't have to wait until the pups are in obvious discomfort before going to pick pain relief up from the surgery.
I mentioned Lily being the 'little' sister. Actually she isn't. She certainly looks it thanks to Roses's immense coat, but when they were weighed tody they turned out to be EXACTLY the same! However, I think she will always be the little one as far as Rose is concerned.
