Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

Cakes a go go!

HAD A REALLY NICE DAY

It was great to see Helen and Bill, especially as it was a complete surprise.
The pups loved all the extra attention and were very well behaved apart from when we left them alone when we went to the Village Inn for an early evening meal and they somehow managed to drag the box containing leads. collars, poop bags and other bits and pieces off the window sill onto the floor here they proceeded to shred as many items as possible before we returned.
It was my fault really. I knew they should have been left in their big crate, but Charles said there shouldn't be a problem leaving them out of it, so foolishly we gave it a try. Obviously one of the leads has been dangling out of the box, they've given it a tug and the whole lot has then come down. Once this happened they had an orgy of destruction, so we came back to find a considerable mess and two very sheepish pups.
In future, when they are left home alone they WILL stay in their crate Charles.
All the excitement left them very tired and we've had to jolly them along for a couple of hours in an attempt to keep them up as long as possible. (I still live in hope of a lie in you see, but reckon this will only happen if the have a late night.)
So, anyway, tomorrow - James is coming for lunch, we'll be ringing Sky to say we need a new box (told you that on Friday Charles) and weeding the beds in the back garden. (We managed to get the grass cut, edges trimmed and the front garden weeded this morning - so at least we've made a start.
The forecast sounds a little better than today, although it won't be much warmer unfortunately.
