Young At Heart

LILY & ROSE

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!

IT'S BEEN...

... a brilliant weekend.
It seems to have lasted for ages as well, probably because we did so much and the weather was so perfect.
This morning is dull and cooler - which the pups will certainly appreciate!
Charles has gone off to work really early today and won't be back till late as he has a governors meeting. Jim arrived in Aberdeen at about 9pm last night having had a reasonably good journey.
We started watching the new Sherlock Holmes film last night. Has anyone else seen it? I'm finding it really difficult to get my head round to be honest. Not the plot - that seems straight-forward enough, but the way the main characters are portrayed. Holmes in particular is a manic, frenzied, crazed eccentric who certainly appears to be smoking more than just tobacco in his pipe! Having said that, I have never read the book and can only base my perceptions on old, probably black and white, films I've seen of Sherlock in plus fours and a deer-stalker, so maybe this is how he was portrayed originally! It IS however, a typical Guy Ritchie film with lots of his trademark techniques in evidence. Only managed to watch 2/3rds of it, so will reserve final judgement until we've seen the whole thing.
