... to Morpeth and back, wearing my specs!
"So what," I hear you say.
Well it has been my belief up to now that I couldn't drive comfortably in my specs. This could hve arisen because I tried to do so when I first had the prescription made up and wasnt really used to them, or more likely because I have no real vision in my left eye when I'm not wearing contacts, but I reckoned that as I am perfectly capable of reading a number plate from the required distance, there really shouldn't be a problem.
So I gave it a go and everything was fine!
This is an important development because I'm probably not going to be able to wear lenses until I've seen BIG MAN FIGUERDO at the RVI in September, and I would have hated to lose my independence for that length of time.
It's also a significant development because I was able to cope with quite bright sunlight for the first time today, which shows that the eye really IS on the mend.
And in celebration of that, I am now able to apply the new eye shadow I purchased last week for just such a moment!!
LILY & ROSE
Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
