Charles suggested that I call in to Waterstones this morning, to see if they are stocking it and to let them know that the author is up for the Brit Writer's Award this month (up against Terry Pratchett no less) so they could give it a plug. Well, I DID, but I really wish I hadn't bothered. The staff were totally underwhelmed, commented that they did indeed have it in stock, but to the best of their knowledge hadn't sold a single copy. Well then perhaps giving the author, WHO IS FROM THE LOCAL AREA, a bit of publicity would help you to shift some copies then, you dopes!
From what I've read so far, it is crying out to be made into a film.

Here are some photos of Lily & Rose. There are a few from the first time we saw them when they were just 4 weeks old. They would fit on your hand at this age and didn't look much like westies!
