... these gale force winds suddenly appear from?
We've got the cushions from the garden furniture blowing all over the place, the perennial geraniums have been dashed to the ground and will have to be cut right back (which is a real shame as they were looking stunning) and there is garden debris all over the place, making it look more like Autumn than Summer.
The girls are struggling to maintain any composure whatsoever as windy weather turns them into little monsters. They've been in and out all day (no sooner were they let in than they wanted to be out again!), play fighting pretty much all the time and Lily has just finished things off by quite deliberately tipping the water bowl all over the kitchen floor and then paddling in it. Thanks Lil, the floor DID need a wash, but I wasn't planning on doing it this evening.
Charles is still working on his reports, but is going to have a break in a minute to take the pups out. I'm letting him do all the walks today as the sunlight really affects my bad eye - and anyway, I would struggle to stand up in some of these gusts!
There appears to be absolutely nothing worth watching on telly tonight, so I may start working my way through my 'Outnumbered' DVDs, despite the series being rubbished by dannymatt!!

Aw...don't listen to me. No wait, do! It's just so damned smug and middle class. And yes I do make rash value judgements. Why? Because stuff like that exists! Plus I've got a huge chip on my shoulder and nothing better to do than to be a slave to the physically challenged.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the verb "rubbished", as if I was so 'out of hand' dismissive he he he. Was I?
